Brayden's First Hair Cut

After 16 months of hair growth we finally felt it was time to get Brayden his first haircut. I was prepared to have to hold him down and try to entertain him by looking like a fool, but thankfully the place we went to had plenty to entertain him with. Brayden picked out the airplane chair and was very interested in all the buttons on the steering column. He stayed very still and never complained about having a stranger take scissors to his hair. :) After all was said and done, our baby boy looked liked a little man. He was so handsome I almost cried. lol We kept the lock of hair and I will make a scrapbook page with it.

Another event that we have had this past week is the snow! Last winter we had maybe two days of snow that melted almost right away. This winter has been very different. Just this past week we had 6 inches! Of course there was a nice layer of ice under that. Snow in Texas is not the same as snow in the north. The TX DOT can't support it, and the people can't drive in it. So EVERYTHING shuts down. I'm not totally against this seeing its better safe than sorry. So Doug stayed home one day during that winter wonderland. Another must mention to this blog is the Super Bowl. Since our current city hosted the event it made it that much better to see one of our teams win. The Packers held true and made it happen. It was an exciting game. As for job stuff Doug has had a few calls and interests for various jobs and so now we are just praying that something comes out of those. We hope to be moving from here to the north by mid-March. We will see... Well until next time we Klutzkes will be enjoying the north-like weather here in the south!
