So as most of you know we are finally moved in and settled in the new house!!! Doug's parents Ken and Rosann just left this evening after being here a couple weeks to help us move and get settled. What a blessing they were!! We could not be where we are now without all of there help! We can actually put the car in the garage now! Looks like we've been here for a couple months instead of one week! We also owe a lot to our great friends here in Savannah that helped us move last week. Our church, Relate Church, lent us their trailer and with that we were able to move our stuff in just a few loads. We look back in awe with the amount of help and kindness we have gotten in the past couple weeks!
I still have to pinch myself now and then that this home is ours. It feels so surreal that after all the moving and uncertainty we have had these past few years, that we are now putting roots back in the ground and calling Savannah home. Brayden absolutely loves his new home. Considering the kid has two playrooms and a whole yard to play in, I can finally get him to exert all that energy he has! We are now preparing for Christmas and for my parents and sister to arrive this week. Plus we get our two furry children back! We are so excited to get Dakota and Marley back home!
On baby news front, we are right on schedule for our new bundle to arrive around the first week of February. Both baby and mommy are doing well! Today we went and got 3D ultrasound done and felt like we were looking at Brayden all over again. He's going to have a mini-me running around and we couldn't be more thrilled. The whole time we were watching the screen Brayden was pointing and saying "Bebe!" Hes pretty excited as well!
I hope everyone has a great holiday season and that we are all reminded of the big and small blessings we have had over the years. These past months have made me realize how fortunate and blessed my little family is and how many are not. Giving back an paying forward is a major priority in our lives and hope that all feel the same! Merry Christmas and may you have a blessed 2012!
